Forecasts predict a large market of individual transportation as a reduction in travel time is valuable. Inner city transportation is best tackled with a well developed public transport system. However, a bottle neck remains in the dense inbound and outbound traffic in large cities and their suburbs. Infrastructure is not scale-able, since space is limited on ground.
People living in remote rural areas, which lack sufficient accessibility, depend on individual transportation and have to put up with long travel times.
Traffic is increasing and exceeds the capacity of existing infrastructure! The necessity for an alternative to ground-based individual transportation is obvious. Novel aircraft show a vast potential to solve this issue in the long run. They are a scale-able and efficient solution, fast and easy to use.
